before your sauna experience
hydrate
Make sure you are well hydrated. Most people forget how important it is to drink enough water throughout the day and now that you are using an infrared sauna and sweating it is even more crucial to stay properly hydrated.
We recommend making sure you drink lots of water before your session, during your session and after leaving the sauna. We also suggest to remove all your make up and not apply any heavy creams to your skin prior to entering the sauna to receive the full benefits infrared heat has to offer.
hydrate
Arriving 5 minutes early will allow for our staff to get you checked in and time for you to get changed before stepping into the sauna for your session.
what to wear
Although the most common recommendation is that ‘birthday suit’ is best, elements of clothing such as lightweight shorts and tee-shirts are ok, as well as swimsuits if that allows you to feel more comfortable. For after your session, think ‘athleisure’; loose, baggy clothes are the way to go.
During your sauna experience
Sweating is a natural way for the human body to release toxins and results are often cumulative. That means the more you come visit us, the better you will feel; similar to following a diet or working out; it will take a few times before you start to see the results.
